5/11/2010 – Marshall Goldman: Who’s in Charge, Medvedev or Putin? Does it Matter? And What Happened to the Cold War?
On Tuesday, May 11th, Boston International was pleased to host an event with Marshall Goldman, a renowned scholar on Russia and US/Russia foreign policy. Professor Goldman spoke about the current Russian leadership and who is in charge – an important question for a nuclear-armed country that has no history of power-sharing. He also discussed the challenges Russia is facing as it strives to expand its worldwide influence and increase global confidence. Finally, Mr. Goldman offered his insights on Russian relations with the Western world and the balance of power that has evolved over the last 20 years.
We were excited to hold the event at the offices of the Massachusetts Office of International Trade & Investment (MOITI), who were kind enough to host us at their beautiful waterfront venue across from the World Trade Center
