An evening of Brazilian food and discussion

Thank you to all who made Boston International’s fifth event in our Chat with the Consulate series a great success. The dinner, which took place on January 27th at 7 PM, featured an all-you-can eat buffet at renowned churrascaria Midwest Grill, and provide an intimate opportunity to hear from Deputy Consul-General Fernando Luis Lemos Igreja from the Consulate General of Brazil in Boston. During his introductory marks and the Q&A discussion, attendees heard about Brazil’s history, ever-rising status on the world stage both politically and economically, new administration and first-ever female president, and the alternative energy sector.

In addition to our intellectual speaker events, Boston International hosts events that are social and cultural in nature. Our Chat with the Consulate series allows Boston International members the opportunity to socialize and network, while also engaging with consuls in the Boston area on a range of exciting international topics.
