We are excited to announce that Professor Ricardo Hausmann of the Harvard Kennedy School is joining us on February 26th to present on a development-related topic. Professor Hausmann was formerly Minister of Planning of Venezuela and the first Chief Economist of the Inter-American Development Bank. Stay tuned for more information!

Candlelight Vigil for Mumbai – Thurs, Dec 4 - Added Dec 03, 2008

We are deeply saddened by the losses suffered by the victims of the violence in Mumbai over the past week, and our thoughts go out to them and their families.

We invite you to join the Asian American Commission of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, and Boston City Councilor Sam Yoon for a Candlelight Vigil on December 4, 6:00 pm at City Hall Plaza. Visit our Partner Events page for details.

On Thursday, November 6th, from 8:00-11:00 pm, Boston International will host the first annual Fall Fete, in the Boston Public Library’s elegant Map & Novel Room. The Fall Fete will attract 200 young professionals, graduate students, and diplomats from a variety of organizations, including consulates, alumni organizations, industry groups, and non-profits. Relax with new and old friends as you enjoy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar with champagne, wine, and beer.
